Hashim Sharaf, a multifaceted Bahraini Film and Creative Director, honed his craft at RMIT University in Australia, earning a Bachelor's degree in Film & Cinema Studies. His dedication to storytelling and visual artistry is evident in his diverse body of work, ranging from thought-provoking narrative shorts that have garnered critical acclaim at international film festivals to highly successful TV shows that have captivated audiences across the region.

The Jury Prize at the Baghdad Film Festival (2016), Best GCC Film in Sharjah Film Festival (2015) and the Best Director at the Red Carpet Festival are few notable accomplishments he has achieved for his short films. Hashim was also nominated for the Best Film Award by the National Arab American Society in Carthage International Film Festival in Tunis, one of the most regarded film events in the African and Arab world.

In recent years, Hashim produced and directed TV shows for Shahid and narrative commercials in the MENA region, and was awarded 1st Place in Riyadh as a Pioneer Marketer for all his accomplishments. Through his films and commercial work, Hashim seeks to illuminate the human experience, offering viewers a profound and nuanced glimpse into the heart of Bahraini culture. His work is not just passionate, but a powerful platform for cultural preservation and artistic expression, solidifying his position as a vital contributor to the regional film and arts landscape.
