Biography

  • Sereene Brown (June 21,1994) is an American actor, dancer, and singer from Queens, New York. Sereene is best known as the Leader of the Japanese and Korean dance group KuroPOP as well as for her achievements in the New York Geek Community.

She began her career as a writer and vlogger in 2010, starting her blog NaruNatsu and vlog Itakudotcom, before starting CosplayNYC Magazine in 2011. Shortly after, she joined Japanese Idol Reni Mimura as a backup dancer. After training and performing with Mimura for 2 years, she auditioned for a spot in the Japanese performance group Rainbow Bubble Girls. Despite placing second in the audition process, she was the only new member added to the group. 2 years later, she started her own dance group KuroPOP and started to explore her talents as an actor, appearing on networks including MTV, NHK, VH1, and Nickelodeon. Performing both the role of manager and performer, Sereene lead KuroPOP for 6 years and planned all 5 of the group's East Coast tours.

Sereene made her first featured television appearance in 2016, appearing on a segment of Nick Cannon's Wild N' Out. Her first supporting film role followed later that same year after landing the role of Crystal in Coincidental Killer.

In 2019, Sereene appeared as a contestant on the TBS game show "Misery Index" and as a Segment Guest on the Dr. Oz Show (Season 10, Episode 74)
