Roney is a film and television, director, writer, and actor. She is an alumna of the Canadian Film Centre and the Radio and Television Arts School of Media at TMU. She has worked on shows including Moonshine (2021) and Ruby and the Well (2020) and her films have played in festivals all over the world, including the Toronto International Film Festival and Cannes International Film Festival.
