Biography

A seasoned producer with nearly 40 titles under his belt and over 10 years of experience in supervising post-production and restoration. His credits include exceptional restorations of classics from studios like Sony, Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and Jim Henson Productions.

Wojtek Janio graduated from the world-famous Polish Film School in Lodz after which he started his career as a Production Manager and Restoration Supervisor at TVP (Polish National Television), where he supervised the restoration of 9 feature films. In 2009 he was hired as DI Supervisor by Yakumama Film - a post-production house specializing in commercials. In 2010 Wojtek started establishing a restoration department within the company and became its head. He supervised the digital restoration of 9 features as well as the DI process of countless commercials, one feature film, and 4 documentaries. In early 2012 he co-founded Fixafilm. Since that time he has supervised digital intermediate of 10 feature films, digital restoration of 17 feature films, as well as the digital remastering of 5 features from the 20's/30's and over 1000 minutes of documentaries.
