Biography

Daniel Augustin is a Haitian-American actor known for his series regular role as Maurice in the HBO Max comedy Rap Sh!t. His television credits also include Marvel's Wonder Man, How I Met Your Father, Grey's Anatomy, Dynasty, David Makes Man, and Wu-Tang: An American Saga.

In addition to his work on screen, Augustin is also a filmmaker and creative collaborator. His projects have screened at festivals including the Tribeca Festival, where he has participated with independent film work both in front of and behind the camera.

Daniel was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Haitian parents Alida Augustin, born in Cap-Haïtien, and the late Georges Augustin Sr., born in Gonaïves. He is one of four siblings.

In high school, Daniel was a three-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball, and track & field while also serving as Vice President of his school's choir and competing in statewide vocal and thespian competitions. He later earned a full athletic scholarship to play football at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
