[Talking about their fans]: Ashton: Fans sometimes even get our lyrics tattooed on their bodies. If we've written a lyric powerful enough that someone would get it tattooed, that is huge. Luke: I love it when a fan just comes up to us and tell us they are having the best time of their life. Ashton: I see fans tell us they've been kicked out of their house. Calum: They say, "your music has really helped me through a tough situation." That really hits home for me. Ashton: I want to make music to help people. It's important to listen to fans. Michael: I think about the crowd and if they are having fun. I want to make sure everything is having a good time. Luke: I like big signs and funny signs. Or I see fans holding signs with Christmas lights wrapped around them. That definitely gets our attention! Ashton: We really enjoy surprising fans! We held a secret gig that was Mexican themed. When fans arrived, there were taco trucks and a Mariachi band that played our songs.

[Asked which member gives the best cuddles]: Calum: I'm going to go with Luke or Michael. They're good, solid huggers and very comforting. Luke definitely needs more hugs in the band. He probably comes up and cuddles me three times a day. Michael: I used to think Calum was the best hugger, but recently Luke has been giving out really great cuddles. Ashton: Michael's definitely a good cuddler. I feel like he's got it jam-packed. He knows what he's doing, he's a cuddly guy. Luke: Calum's definitely the best cuddler. He's really squishy.

[Asked about there biggest dating disaster]: Calum: I went on a date with a girl once, but halfway through, I realized I didn't really like her. We just didn't gel. It was awkward, but I got through it. I didn't leave halfway; I couldn't do that to her! Luke: I went on a date once where we went for sushi and I spilled soy sauce all over my plate and a little bit on her. I'm very clumsy when I'm nervous. I need a girl who can understand that. Ashton: I've tried to do the whole "cool" thing on a date, but it didn't go so well. I'm a little sarcastic at times and sometimes that might come across as rude. My lesson learnt is try not to make as many jokes, because it goes downhill. Michael: I bought flowers for a girl who I didn't know had a boyfriend. It was very awkward. She accepted them and thought they were really sweet. She was like, "thanks, they're nice." I was like, "Nice? That's all I get?" And she was like, "Yeah, I have a boyfriend." Then it made sense. I think I've learned my lesson- always check if she's got a boyfriend.

[Asked if they cuddle]: Ashton: Always! There's always bromance going on! Michael: I like to think we're a cuddly band!

[Describing their dream girl in tree words]: Luke: Hopefully somebody that likes me! I like a girl who is quirky and comfortable in their own skin. Ashton: Weird, confident, and interesting. I think character is important in a girl. Michael: Funny, weird, and caring! I don't know if I've met my dream girl yet. Maybe I have on the street and didn't know it. Calum: Quirky, funny, and slightly weird. We're weird guys, so it needs to be balanced out. I'm yet to meet my dream girl.
