Biography

Augusto born in San Juan, Argentina at the foot of the mighty Cordillera de los Andes. His life got a plot twist when his family moved to Australia where he found his passion to tell stories at 24 fps. His lingering roots of his Argentinean origins feeds his creative World and his romantic and passionate sensibility always push his stories towards the challenges of understanding the human heart.

Augusto is a Writer / Director and current member of the ADG (Australian Director's Guild). With experience in managing teams as a 3rd Assistant Director and with a background education of finance and economics, his strengths are grounded in his ability to organize resources, plan and execute films with high production values.

His short film "Tony's Dream (2023)" won Best Sci Fi, Best Cinematography and Runner up, as well as being Nominated for Best Directing and Best Writing at the Made in the West film festival 2023.

Having a solid academic formation, Augusto is alumni of the Queensland School of Film and Television, Griffith Film School and the Sydney Film School.

Augusto resides in Sydney, Australia.
