- Sydney Wease, born in Arizona, has lived the life of a "military brat" moving and traveling all over. Sydney even had the chance to live in Japan for a few years when she was younger. She started her acting career in Utah before moving to Georgia where she made her TV debut on episode 4 of the 8th season of The Vampire Diaries on The CW.

- Sydney wrote a short film called The Family That Preys Together which she filmed along with some of the members of her scene study class, some of the directors and some other crew members she had worked with on past projects. The dark comedy film was created for a film competition called The Demon Chaser Film Challenge and their team won the Best Acting Award for their work at the screening.
