Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Kirk Ryde is an actor and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA. He wrote, produced and starred in the award-winning short film "A Singularity" and wrote, produced and directed the award-winning short film "Rope Trick." As an actor, he has appeared in productions for Curiosity Stream and NBC Television, as well as in many independent films. If it seems he's in deep thought, he's really just daydreaming about which breed of dog is the coolest.

Produced and moderated the Culver City Film Festival Actors Panel in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Artistic Director of the Culture &amp; Diversity Film Festival beginning in 2018.

Studied screenwriting at UCLA under Richard Walter, Lew Hunter and William Froug.

Assembled, produced and moderated the Filmmaker Panel for the 2019 WeLink International Film Festival in cooperation with the United Nations Multi-Media Guild. The panel featured Julia Verdin, Jeremy Kagan, Jason Piette, Tracey Birdsall, and Neil Johnson.

Received an MFA in Film and Television from UCLA where he won the Jack Nicholson Award for Screenwriting.
