Will Llawerch

Born at the foot of the Esclusham Mountains in Flintshire, 1971.
In school, History was always the passion and he loved Creative Writing, later still, he studied English Literature at Yale 6th Form College in Wrexham, a foundation which saw him in good stead in 1996 when he attended a 2 year HND GNVQ in Performing Arts.
He is a big fan of Shakespeare & George Middleton's Jacobean texts as well as the classics of Oscar Wilde, Chekhov &Tennessee Williams. In 1996 during his 2 year HND Drama Course, Will spent the summer working as a runner with Talk TV at LWT, London.
In 1997, Will was invited to live alone in a reproduction Iron Age Village for 3 weeks as part of an archaeological experiment. This began a lifelong passion for learning ancient skills and now Will holds workshops in Flint Knapping, Smelting Iron, Herbs& Medicine and other skills.
Between 1999 & 2009, Will Lived and worked in Canada enjoying 8 seasons as a cast member of Downstage Productions.
In 2010 Will returned to UK and opened his first business "Rent-a-Celt" which is still going strong. He takes Full Day Visits Nationwide to KS 2,3 & 4 classes teaching British Prehistory & Iron Age Celts. Until recently, he was the only person representing the entire 10,000 years of British prehistory to the children as part of the national curriculum.
In 2011, after 10 years as an actor in Canada, Will was cast as Principal Lead in "Boy" directed by Matty Groves. The film won a Royal Television Award.
Between 2012 & 2018 Will chose to rest from Acting and traveled internationally teaching TESOL /TEFL English in Russia, Ukraine & Cyprus.
Will Speaks, Russian, French & Welsh to B1 Intermediate Level and English is his Mother Tongue.
Special Skills: Will has military experience and is proficient in the operation of Beretta & Sig Saur pistols, 5.56 Famas, L1A1 7.62 SLR, .303 SMLE Mk 3 Lee Enfield, Smoke pots, Grenades. Black Powder Musketry. Re-curve bows, and bladed weapons: Swords, Hand Axe, Spear, Shield.
Always hovering in the background was writing. He wrote his first book in 1999. The first manuscript of "Celtic Fury" an Historical Action Adventure for adults. However, he gained more success after signing with Wordcatcher Publishing to create his now well known children's Time Travel Adventures. "Jamie meets the Romans," "Jamie meets Owain Glyndwr," "Jamie meets the Vikings," "Jamie meets Robin Hood," & "Jamie meets Blackbeard" At the time of writing Will has plans to also add two new titles, "Jamie meets the Normans" & "Jamie meets the Time Monster"
Since then he has become one of Wales' up and coming new writers specializing in Historical Action Adventures and Reference/Non Fiction books about British Prehistory aimed at filling the niche between Asterix the Gaul and more academic Archaeology publications.
Will would like to continue his acting career & is currently producing a Comedy Talk Radio Show: The Wild Welsh Willey Show for Ambron Radio. He would be interested in connecting with a proactive talent agent who can offer him regular work in theatre, TV, Feature Film & Radio.
