Natalie Turturro Mettouchi

Natalie Turturro Mettouchi works in the costume department for various film and tv shows based in New York City. As a child, she taught herself how to draw and sew; she then began altering and customizing her clothing, and has simply never stopped. She is a storyteller not with words, but with forms, colors, and textures, using the art of dress to help augment a character's narrative. Natalie is innately curious, and enjoys getting lost in captivating stories, learning about other cultures, history, and scouring the world for unique finds. Natalie studied costume design at Boston University's College of Fine Arts, graduating with a BFA in 2010. She has over 15 years of professional experience working in a variety of positions in costume shops for both stage and screen. Additionally, she has lived and traveled extensively abroad, and is a dual French-American citizen.
