Biography

Erion Kame is an Albanian film and theatre director, screenwriter, and playwright whose work explores the complexities of contemporary Albanian society through stories rooted in social psychology, family dynamics, moral conflict, identity, and tradition.

He directed the feature film A Life with You (Një Jetë me Ty) and the short films Happy Old Age (Pleqëri të Mbarë) and Club. As a screenwriter, he has contributed to several Albanian film productions, including Sex, Fairytale and Mobile Phone (Seks, Përrallë dhe Celular), Cats in the Snow (Macet në Deborë), and The Children (Fëmijët). His work has been presented at national and regional film festivals, including the Tirana International Film Festival.

Alongside his film career, Kame has worked extensively in television as writer and director of acclaimed Albanian sitcoms, while maintaining an active presence in theatre, directing productions of both contemporary and classical works.

Combining the perspectives of filmmaker, playwright, and cultural leader, Kame's work is distinguished by its human-centered approach and its examination of the relationship between individual choices and social realities.
