- Founder of New York Costumed Performer's network, a non profit charity which involves costumers in various community based charitable activities. Ms. Blander also organizes photo shoots, costumed cabarets, and talent showcases. She and her group has appeared in several media, NY Times, WPIX, Metro NY, Good morning America, Bleeding cool magazine, and Good Day New York. She has an award for Outstanding Community Service signed by the former Brooklyn Borough President. She has also involved her costumers in Veteran support events, taking them to military hospitals/ installations, and sending comics and other 'geek' items overseas.
