Biography

Antonio Nardi is UK-based songwriter and music composer for media.

Between 2004 and 2010 he published three rock albums with major labels (Universal Music and Sony BMG), and toured Europe with his live set as a singer-songwriter. His most recent album was awarded two major critic prizes in Italy in 2009 and 2010 (Premio Dé Andrè and Musicultura).

From 2012 onward he has been working on music for media. A UK National Film and TV School alumnus, his music has been featured at more than 40 film and animation festivals around the world. Recent credits include Cannes Film Festival 2015 (music for the Palm d'Or short-listed "Patriot" by Eva Riley) [FRA] and 2016, Sundance 2015 (music for the world premiere of "Out of Sight", by Nick Rowland) [US], Sheffield Doc Festival 2017 (music for the winner "The Archipelago", by Benjamin Huguet) [UK], IDA Awards 2016 (music for the winner "The Archipelago", by Benjamin Huguet) [US], Palm Springs Festival 2016 (music for "After the end", 3D animation by Sam Southward) [US], Annecy Animation Fest 2015 [FRA] (music for "Sea Child", animation by Minha Kim) [FRA].

He is also a profilic composer of music for public spaces and sound for brands. He has composed numerous sonic logos, along with cinematic sonification of public spaces around the world, mainly in Europe, the Middle East, and the US.

As of 2020 he lives and works in London.
