Joshua E. Mathison was born and Raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During his last year in film school he began handpicking talented people he worked well with. After graduation, Josh and his crew started their own Production Company. (Hidden Jem Productions). The company specializes in online advertisements for locally owned business's who cannot afford a huge budget. They than use their profits to self fund their original short films, web series and cartoons.
