In 2017, after a final audition with a live audience in Colorado Springs, Grayson was announced as the winner of Adventures in Odyssey's "Get in the Show" contest. He then performed with the cast of the national radio drama in a live performance aboard a Disney Cruise ship. Grayson also performed additional voices in various episodes of the show.
In 2013, he appeared as The Artful Dodger in The 5th Avenue Theatre's holiday production of Oliver!. He was subsequently named Outstanding Young Actor for his portrayal of The Artful Dodger by The 5th Avenue First Annual Subscriber Choice Awards.
Grayson appeared as Walter Understudy/Ensemble in The 5th Avenue Theatre's 2013 world premiere production of Secondhand Lions: A New Musical in Seattle, with a cast that included Tony Award nominees Mark Jacoby and Gregg Edelman, with book by Tony Award winner, Rupert Holmes.
