Biography

Casey Pfeifer is an award-winning filmmaker, actress, and writer based in New York City.

Her first feature film "Half-Quaked," co-created with Rochelle Muzquiz, won Best Comedy in the Oregon Independent Film Festival, as well as being nominated for Best Picture.

She is currently starring in the film "Checking In" written and directed by Tyler Martin. "Checking In" is an intimate, offbeat short about two queer women connecting through love and loss (coming 2026).

Casey is the co-creator and co-director of TRICH, an original play centered on mental health written by Becca Schneider and produced by Between Two Boroughs. TRICH won both the Audience Choice and Best Actress Awards at the 2021 United Solo Theatre Festival. It was also named one of the top fifteen New Jersey theatre productions of 2023 by NJArts following its sold-out run at Luna Stage. TRICH is now performing regionally across the country, eyeing an Off-Broadway run in 2027.
