Born in Dublin, Ireland . Brian has a passion for films and the process of story telling through the collaborative nature of film making. Often physically compared to fellow Irish actor Liam Nesson, Brian brings a depth and naturalism to his acting style. With a life long passion for horses, Brian is a keen horseman. He lives with his family in Co Dublin, Ireland.

Standing at 6'3, Brian originally wanted to be a Steeplechase Jockey .

After seeing Jaws when he was 5, Brian became obsessed with all things Spielberg. Citing Jaws as the perfect film, John William's "Morning" from the score was played at his wedding.

Brian played the role of the Watchman in Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, The Watchman had several scenes with the main cast.Due the birth of Brian's daughter, he could not travel to the UK to shoot the scenes.It was re-written and Brian shot his scenes on a later date on his own.

The 303 rifle Brian's character Chris uses in The Forest never sleeps , was made for and used in Saving Private Ryan .
