Biography

B Rakesh is an Indian film producer and owner of universal cinemas who mainly works in Malayalam Cinema, born in Chadayamankalam, Kollam District, as the elder son of G Bahuleyan and P Leelabai.

Career

B Rakesh is a well known film producer who has been in the entertainment industry for the last two decades. He is credited as the producer of the First Malayalam Mega Serial Vamsham penned by Sri. K Jayakumar IAS.

His association with the Television Industry was long and illustrious as he produced programmes for Doordarshan which included Chitrageetham, Smrithylayam, etc.

He has produced the critically acclaimed serialParudeesayilakkoru Paatha, Lenin Rajendran directed Madhavikutty's Balyakalasmaranakal and 260 episode serialSuryakanthi.

His Television Serial Eswaran Saakshiyaai (Flowers TV, year 2015) got 5 main Kerala state Goverment television awards,it includs best serial and best director etc for the year2015.

C B I most popular serial was produced for Mazavil Manorama channel.

Appart from the above , B.Rakesh produced en number of hit and super hit Malayalam Movies under his Banner named ,Vakkalathu Narayanankutty, Njan Salperu Ramankutty ,Malayalimaamanu Vanakkam, Rathrimazha ,One by Two, Pullikaran Stara, SAKHAVU.
