Once played a workman in Gambit (2012) along side Colin Firth. This came about whilst working as a Location Security Guard at Compton verde Art Gallery on location for the movie. One of the workers cast for this position fell ill at the last minute and Michael Hoffman on arriving at the location said that Colin Giles was the same build and would be a good replacement.
