Biography

Born in Rochester, N.Y. 1958. His family moved to Hollywood, Fl. in 1968. Spent the majority of his childhood and teen age years on the golf course even entertaining the idea of playing the sport professionally. Instead was introduced to the world of fashion and began working as a print model in 1979 in Miami. Traveled to N.Y. and was told by the Ford Agency he would not work. Later that month he was sent to Milan , Italy By L'Agence Miami where he worked runway and designer showrooms. It was there he worked with photographer Aldo Fallai. Peter has done adv. designer campaigns, editorial layouts and catalog work throughout Europe, Central America and the U.S. He has been found in Luomo Vogue, Vogue Italia, W, Harpers Bazaar, G.Q. and countless daily's. After numerous non-union television commercials Peter joined the Screen Actors Guild in 1983, his first union television commercial being for American Express travelers cheques. An avant-garde Palmolive gold soap commercial shot at the pink house in Miami also went national and ran for some time. Late 1986 was a turning point in his life, meeting his wife Tamina. They have 2 children, Peter 26 ( a photo journalist ) and Alysha 24 ( real estate and a model). A proud member of SAG/AFTRA since 1983 , Peter made a full return to the business in January 2013. Believing that training and preparation would be key, Peter spent 2013-2014 attending every workshop within reach. Taking advantage of SAG's c.a.p. online program and workshops with Lori Wyman c.d., Meg Morman c.d., Dee Miller c.d. were credited as being eye opening. Peter credits an intensive workshop attended in the spring of 2014 given by actor Ray Forchion as life changing. Peter is a firm believer in patience and persistence.
