- Born in Dorchester, Dorset, James Viller is a British-Irish actor, writer, and co-founder of Art Theatre London. Raised by an Irish mother and English father, he developed a passion for performance and literature from an early age. He initially studied Law but upon graduation applied for drama schools. He won a place at the coveted Drama Centre London and his training also took him to the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, Moscow.
James has worked extensively across theatre, film, and television in the UK and internationally. His recent performance in Ordinary Madness at Riverside Studios received critical acclaim in the national press, while projects including Marion’s Lilies, Jasper Johns, and Strike were selected for BAFTA-qualifying festivals and received recognition at international film festivals.
Now based in London, England, James continues to work internationally across stage and screen.
