Biography

Daniel Michael Crane was adopted from Colombia, South America, as a baby with his twin sister. He is a Sag-Aftra actor, and classically trained singer whose styles include: musical theater, operatic musical theater, pop/r&b & even some classic rock!

Currently, he takes acting classes with award winning/internationally known writer/director/producer/filmmaker Sam Borowski (whose 2009 short, "The Mandala Maker", qualified for the Oscars! Daniel's skills as both actor and person have grown leaps and bounds with Sam's guidance! Additionally, he takes private voice lessons in NYC, and is always available to lend his voice to a project in that regard as well!

Residing on Long Island's beautiful East end with his family as of right now, & frequenting NYC on a weekly basis, Daniel first began acting in 2008. He intended to audition for his first musical, called his mother with obvious fear, and she pushed him to do it anyway! He was eventually rewarded with 3 roles, and has not looked back since. Daniel broke into film and television in 2012. He was offered a background role, and was told starting this way gave great exposure to Film & TV. Since then, he has become Sag-Aftra, and is attached to several independent film & TV projects as Co-Star, Principal, or Lead with others pending well into 2015.

Daniel is always seeking work, available for travel, and outside of on screen regular dialogue, he is very open to providing his singing voice on screen, for soundtracks, as well as providing his rich baritone voice for trailers, fund raising campaigns, etc.
