Screenwriter and director Cheryl Neve grew up on the south coast of England and studied Hispanic Studies at King's College London, before later embarking on her career in the film industry. She has since written, produced and directed a wide range of film genres, such as WWII, drama, espionage, sci-fi and westerns.
Her directorial debut, Cold War thriller Cheating Charlie (2019), has won awards for Best First Time Director, Best Director (Honorable Mention), Best Screenplay, Best Short Mystery/Thriller, Best Writer, Best Producer and Best Cinematography. She also produced Fabio D'Andrea: Love Should Not Hurt (2021), starring Spice Girl Mel B and choreographed by The Greatest Showman (2017)'s Ashley Wallen.
Her current focus is a number of projects filming in Europe and the US.
