Don Chow is an actor/director/filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist working in what he terms "investigative performance."
His first feature-length film, "AVID," is currently in development (2025) with initial project development funding awarded from Canada Council for the Arts. AVID is the second part of an experimental opera and film project, "TAIKOPERA," which follows the short film, "dub this road," commissioned in 2021 by Vancouver's Powell Street Festival and featuring a cast of all-women taiko drummers combined with indigenous dance and BIPOC contemporary opera.
