Sitoh Ortega, is from Jaén (Spain). He is a member of the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is a composer specializing in soundtracks for film, theater, dance, documentaries, and advertising.
He comes from a family of musicians and began his career in 1982.
His first film compositions were with director Juan Antonio Anguita, with whom he has directed five films to date.
He achieved great success for his compositions in films such as Camino de la suerte (2024), La cajera (2023), El padrastro (2023), and Dioses (2021), in addition to numerous compositions for theater and dance, such as the opening for the show Juan Perro y La Zarabanda by Santiago Auserón.
He co-founded the bands "La Sombra del Gato" and "Tejemaneje" with Sole Candela, with whom he continues to work today, composing songs for films.
