Mini bio

  • Eduard Geyl is an Australian actor, known for Love, Guns & Level Ups (2020). Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine to a working-class family, Eduard immigrated to Australia at the age of 7, growing up in Sydney's Northwest. He developed a love for acting at an early age, attending weekly drama classes at the Sydney Talent Company throughout his high school years. There, he appeared in various student short films and theatre productions. His television debut came in 2016 as a guest role on the SBS produced crime drama Deep Water (2016), where he starred opposite Yael Stone and Yael Stone. Upon graduating high school, he decided to study at Screenwise, where he completed Australia's only 2 Year Full-Time Diploma in Screen Acting.

In 2021, Eduard played the leading role of Elliot Graham in the award-winning web-series Love, Guns & Level Ups (2020), an action comedy produced by the Australian collective Fury Fingers Films. The series received enormous success at festivals worldwide, and Eduard's performance earned him Best Leading Actor nominations at the 2021 Toronto Online Web Festival and 2021 Rio Web Fest. Eduard then went on to play the role of high school bully, Talgat Foster, in the hit ABC TV series Born To Spy, created and executive produced by Justine Flynn (The Unlisted).

Most recently, Eduard wrapped production on Justin Kurzel's highly anticipated WWII epic, The Narrow Road to the Deep North, playing the role of Jimmy Bigelow. The series is an adaptation of Richard Flanagan's Booker Prize winning novel of the same name and stars Jacob Elordi, Olivia DeJonge, and Simon Baker. It is slated to be released on Amazon Prime Australia.

Despite his numerous appearances on screen Eduard has continued to develop a presence on the stage, playing the leading role of Cyrano in an original adaptation of the beloved French play Cyrano de Bergerac at Sydney's Cellar Theatre in 2021 and appearing as Reverand Hale in a 2019 production of The Crucible.
