Jemma Cotter is a director based in Australia. She grew up on the small island of Honiara in the Solomon Islands and relocated to Darwin in the Northern Territory later on in her childhood. She graduated with a Bachelor of Film and Television (Hons) from Swinburne University of Technology and has pursued a career as a director ever since. She has directed short films, short form series’, branded content and commercials which have screened widely. She has scored two nominations from the Australian Directors’ Guild, as well as participating in the SBS Digital Originals and ABC’s Fresh Blood programs co-financed with Screen Australia.
