Matthew Buckley(VII)

Matthew Buckley began his passion for the content creation industry during his childhood when he would produce highlights for his hockey team using video footage captured by his grandmother. In high school, Matt did his co-op placement at Rogers TV and was provided with hands-on-training in may aspects of television production. Matthew would later begin his career with the Saint John Sea Dogs, a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) team in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). As a video production manager, he was responsible for building the teams online video profile creating a national following for its fan base to view highlights and features. The Saint John Sea Dogs would go on to win the Memorial Cup Championship in 2011 allowing Matt the opportunity to work with broadcast professionals and showcase the team on a national stage. After a six-year journey with the Sea Dogs Matthew decided to move to Belleville, Ontario and pursue an advanced diploma in Television and New Media production. In his first year of the TVNM program, he worked on both of the schools third-year major productions and produced the graphics package for the programs annual Sparkie awards show. Today Matthew Buckley looks to continue his career as a passionate storyteller in the content creation industry.
