Bertan Cakgoz is a British animator working across short and long-form productions for film, television, and gaming.
His early work was in cinematic cut-scene, working on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) before moving into visual effects, as a compositor/animator on the television drama production The Jesus Mysteries (2014), written and directed by David Caldwell Evans.
He also worked in short-form commercial advertising. A prominent campaign was the groundbreaking Sky Q "Fluid viewing" launch in 2016.
From 2021 to 2023, Bertan worked on the major release of Peaky Blinders: The King's Ransom (2022), as a key animator, directed by Russell Harding
As of 2023, he continues animation work on cut-scenes for titles currently under non-disclosure in the entertainment gaming industry.
