Boon McKenzie

Boon McKenzie is more than an actor-he’s a dedicated student of the craft and the business behind it. Raised in the performing arts scene of Rochester, New York, he developed an early passion for storytelling that led him to refine his skills at the University of Central Florida, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Theater.

Driven by a clear sense of purpose, Boon made the bold move to Los Angeles, traveling over 2,500 miles to pursue a career in film and television. He began as a background artist, using every opportunity on set to study the industry from the inside out-gaining hands-on insight into every role, from producers to crew. That foundation quickly translated into on-screen success. Boon has appeared in guest roles on hit series such as Scandal. Had a reoccurring role in the reboot of The Wonder Years, and has taken on leading roles in multiple independent films, showcasing both his range and screen presence.

As his career continues to evolve, Boon has expanded into the production space, founding 8NINETEEN Productions-a company focused on developing compelling, original content. With a growing body of work both in front of and behind the camera, Boon McKenzie is an emerging force with a future that shows no signs of slowing down.
