Stephen A. Stewart

Stephen Stewart is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, where he studied drama at the prestigious American Conservatory Theatre. Stephen then went on to become a playwright, before moving to Los Angeles where he ended-up on the business side of the industry as a partner of a theatrical agency. As an agent, Stephen represented film, TV, stage and literary talent. Missing the creative side, Stephen returned to writing and producing. He was under contract with Paramount Pictures and is now a screenwriter for film and television. Among many original screenplays, Stephen has also adapted novels by such acclaimed writers as Mary Gaitskill, Susanna Moore, Margaret Millar and Nell Freudenberger.
