Ahmet Melih Yilmaz

Ahmet Melih Yılmaz graduated from Ankara University DTCF Theater Department and is an experienced theater actor. He gained significant recognition for his performance in the theater play Woyzeck Masalı, directed by Erdal Beşikçioğlu. In addition to his theater work, Yılmaz began acting in films and TV series in 2010. He appeared in the series Hatırla Gönül in 2015, and in 2018, he started portraying the character Timsah Celil in the TV series Çukur, but later left the show. He played the role of Şinasi in the series Cam Tavanlar, which aired on Show TV and concluded in 2021. At the same time, he starred in the leading role in Miriam Yasta, staged by Tatbikat Sahne and directed by Erdal Beşikçioğlu, which premiered on November 19, 2021. He came out as transgender woman when he won the Promising Young Male Actor award at the Adana Golden Koza Film Festival in 2020 and began his gender transition. Following his transition, Ahmet changed his name to Meli Bendeli. As Meli Bendeli, she continued to pursue acting roles in projects such as Dengeler (2024) and Salyangoz Odasi (2025).
