Doreen Sanchez

Doreen Sanchez is a writer, artist and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. Ms. Sanchez has written for numerous rock and roll and fashion publications, notably Glue Magazine founded by editor and media personality, Laurie Pike. She is also known as a club promoter in Hollywood and Silver Lake, California, and is also an alumnus of Tower Records, the venerated music retail chain, having worked at their Westwood, West Covina and Sunset Strip locations. In addition, she has also worked as a disc jockey in clubs and was part of KBLT, the underground radio station based in Silverlake, which had a revolving door of disc jockeys including Beastie Boys, Keith Morris, of the Circle Jerks and Black Flag, and Rage Against the Machine's, Tom Morello, among others.

Doreen is married since 2001 to clothing designer and musician, Marc Vachon. They live in Los Angeles and have one daughter, photographer and artist, Kayla Vachon, born in 2002.
