Mini bio

  • Anthony Baldasare is a screen and stage actor originally from Columbus, Ohio. He was raised in a creative household: his father is a professional actor with whom Baldasare toured in two-man shows during his childhood. His mother founded Dance Synergy and taught theater and dance at Otterbein University; his sister, Angela Joy, works as a performer and sound designer in Chicago. He studied acting at Ohio University and completed the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre’s Emerging Professional Residency Program for Acting.

He plays Peter Bailey in the NEON-distributed theatrical feature Shelby Oaks, directed by Chris Stuckmann and executive produced by Mike Flanagan. His on-camera credits also include supporting roles in The Man Who Changed the World and NBC’s Chicago Fire, along with numerous independent films and commercials.

On stage, Baldasare has appeared in notable Chicago productions, including portraying Philip Capet, King of France, in The Lion in Winter at the Tony Award-winning Court Theatre, for which the Chicago Sun-Times wrote that "Baldasare utterly nails the deadpan surliness... and the cunning of a man who learned early how to keep a lifelong secret."
