Jason Hanold is the President, CAA Executive Search. Creative Artists Agency acquired Hanold Associates Executive Search in 2024, where Jason was the founder and CEO. He is focused on recruiting executives and serving CAA clients, focused on Chief HR Officers, Corporate Officers, CEO and Board Director searches. His client roster spans across business scenarios and includes companies that range from Fortune 100, start-ups, and founder-led, to family offices, sports leagues, and private equity. His relationships are across industries with CEOs, founders, Board directors, corporate leaders and commissioners.
Before launching Hanold Associates in 2010, Jason was a Managing Director with Russell Reynolds Associates where he was the firm's Global Human Resources Officer Practice Leader and a member of the Board of Directors and CEO Practices. Prior to Russell Reynolds Associates, Jason led the Global Talent Acquisition for Whirlpool Corporation. Preceding Whirlpool, he was the Head of Recruiting with McKinsey & Company.
Jason is pursuing his doctoral degree at the University of Pennsylvania, Jason earned a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University in 2010, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in 1990.
Jason serves on the Board of Directors for the National Football Foundation & College Football Hall of Fame, and the College Football Hall of Fame Museum. Also, he serves on the board of Directors for a portfolio company of Shore Capital. He is a member of the Leadership Council of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights and serves on the National Advisory Council for Big City Mountaineers where he was a two-term board member and Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee. He serves the United States Olympic Committee as a Team USA Athlete Mentor and is a member of the SAG-AFTRA union.
Jason is married to Neela Seenandan, President, CAA Leadership Advisory. Neela and Jason co-founded Hanold Associates in 2010 and have four sons. He enjoys mountaineering, outdoor exploration, and team sports, especially football.
