Lisa Calhoun-Walker is a television writer-creator and industry professional with over a decade of experience working across scripted television, film, and unscripted production. A member of IATSE Locals 479 and 52, she has worked on high-profile projects including If Beale Street Could Talk, Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street, and Power Book III: Raising Kanan, gaining firsthand insight into how television is built from concept through execution.
Lisa holds a Master's degree in Media Studies and a post-graduate certificate in Media Management from The New School for Public Engagement. Her background spans multiple departments in film and television-including various positions in property and sound-giving her a production-grounded perspective that informs her writing and creative leadership.
Lisa is currently developing two original scripted series: Alchemy, a near-future drama exploring power, survival, and reclamation; and Pendente Lite, a supernatural dramedy exploring justice, accountability, and redemption through the lens of family law. She is also developing an unscripted reality series rooted in lived experience and observational storytelling.
Lisa's work centers human complexity, moral tension, and systems of power, combining on-set experience with rigorous storytelling craft.
