Alfons Emilian
- Director
- Writer
- Producer
Alfons Emilian is a self-taught filmmaker whose journey from the streets to the screen is a testament to grit, vision, and relentless passion. Raised in the projects, Emilian found escape and inspiration in the glow of a local movie theater, where his love for cinema first took root. That love became purpose when a chance gig as an extra in The Alamo ignited a career that would span over 15 years across film, television, and music.
His breakout role alongside Luke Wilson in Idiocracy marked his arrival, but Emilian's true calling was behind the lens. He honed his craft as a Videographer/Editor on The Kid Kraddick Morning Show and Russell Rush's Haunted Adventures, and captured live performances at Clearchannel's Mixfest Concert Series featuring artists like Adam Levine, Katharine McPhee, and Three Days Grace.
Emilian's directorial debut, Delirium, earned him Best Director honors, followed by Limbo - starring Evlin Lake and Jesse Borrego - which won Best Actress and Best Experimental Film and is now streaming. His first feature, III Day, a post-apocalyptic thriller, won Best Horror Feature and premiered at New York's Shockfest Film Festival.
Driven by a mission to create opportunities for underrepresented communities, Emilian blends raw storytelling with cutting-edge technique to deliver films that resonate deeply with audiences. His horror feature Lechuza is already making waves on streaming platforms. Starting in fall 2025, he is in pre-production for his upcoming folk horror "The Devil's Bend."
