At the 2024 Hollywood Fringe Festival, Krystle captivated audiences with her world premiere solo show "space exploration because SPACE EXPLORATION because sPaCe eXpLoRaTiOn!!!" The production, nominated for the HFF StageCrafts Select Award and featured in the StageCrafts Spotlight Series, delves into the intricate effects of colonization, imperialism, and patriarchy on Filipina-Americans and their relationships, encompassing their personal journeys and connections with loved ones.
From 2020-2024, Krystle co-hosted and co-produced four seasons of the MeSearch Podcast, a platform shining light on emerging leaders and untold narratives within the Filipino/Filipino-American community.
Krystle, a passionate musician since childhood, was captivated by music's profound impact. From entertaining at family gatherings and local festivals to discovering a love for musical theatre in school, her journey was a crescendo of creativity. In 2011, she unveiled her self-produced EP, "Time," showcasing her dynamic songwriting and vocal range. Her star continued to rise, headlining events like the Jazzmopolitan at the Ford Amphitheatre and the Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture.
A graduate of the California Institute of the Arts with an M.F.A. in Acting and holding a B.A. in Theatre Arts from California State University, Dominguez Hills, Krystle has portrayed diverse characters on stage, including Kathy in "Supplies and Provisions," Sonia in "Dreamlandia," Rene in "Personals the Musical," and Agnes in "Agnes of God." Her performances resonate with depth and authenticity, reflecting her commitment to storytelling that inspires, educates, and empowers.
