BA in Film and Audiovisual Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid.
After fifteen years working in cinema and television in Madrid, he returned to Asturias in 2010 to co-found the independent production company Freews, with the aim of documenting the legacy of industry in Asturias as a universal film subject.
He has directed, shot and co-written three feature films, ReMine, The Last Working-Class Movement (2014), In Memoriam, Defeat
Should Be Forgotten (2018) and Plaza Mayor (2025), as well as TV series and feature-length documentaries (La Llucha,
2015; Patrimoniu, 2016), short films (A noite é necesaria, 2014), video installations and online
projects.
His work has received awards at ten international film festivals and has been screened in cinemas and museums in 29 countries, in addition to being recognized with the Hispania Nostra Award for Best Practices in Cultural Heritage Dissemination in Spain.
