Biography

Jon Michael Simpson is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker and actor from Texas. He began directing his first feature documentary Hi I'm Blake while studying film at the University of Texas (2014). This film was licensed by Warner Bros. Discovery and inspired the Hi I'm ____ documentary series (HBO Max) that released with the launch of Chip and Joanna Gaines Magnolia Network. Jon Michael is a member of the award-winning sketch comedy group The Cuddle Squad and has created over ten films including The Get Together (Showtime). He has directed, produced and acted in multiple films, commercials, and digital series with entities such as Snapchat, NBC, and Coca-Cola. He most recently starred in the Shudder Original: Sorry About The Demon, released Paramount+'s Milli Vanilli documentary, and serves as Executive Producer and director for the Hi I'm ____ series (HBO Max) including his latest film Hi I'm Travis Mills.
