- Faced with the dilemma of describing surroundings so quick to change around her, Gayatri escaped the world of words and took to the camera in 2012. The JVC was her first tryst with filmmaking, at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She was born and raised in a family of three, and spent her whole life wrapped in stories told to her by her parents, friends, teachers and strangers.
Gayatri now lives in Brooklyn, New York and spends her times building the narrative to her own story, through explorations of the strange and unknown.
