Biography

Heather E. Hutsell (1973-) was born in Fort Worth, TX, and spent her earliest years on Bainbridge Island, WA, before setting out to see the world at age 17. In addition to occasional acting, she is a published author of fiction/fantasy novels, including the steampunk mystery series: The Case Files, and has written episodes for "Emancipation Road" (Credited as Heather Bischoff).

Heather E. Hutsell has always taken the art of imagination very seriously. As a young girl, she often dreamed of running away to join the circus to become a star tightrope walker, or becoming the leading crime case cracker for the FBI. Instead, she began to write books. Now a self-published authoress of eight novels and counting (including the first two books in the Steampunk Mystery series "The Case Files"), two novellas, several short stories and a scriptwriter for historical documentaries, she also manages to find time to design and construct costumes, of which she is frequently caught wearing.
