- Michael Colin Russell born on a drafty October night in 1981. From an early age he took interest in film production, taking the first film class at East Aurora High School. From there he took off to college at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where out of sheer laziness he gave up on his dream of becoming a lawyer and started taking film production classes. In 2013, after bouncing around the advertising and marketing world of Chicago for 8 years, Michael packed up his 1999 VW Jetta with windows that didn't roll up and a starter that didn't work in the winter, and headed west. After a bout of unemployment, sleeping of a friends couch, Michael found gainful employment at Interloper Films, where he has been burning the midnight oil on such pieces as Obey the Artist, Amanda F***ing Palmer On the Rocks, and the bimonthly episodes of A Total Disruption.
