- Thomas Magnuson was born in Galveston, Texas. He grew up in Austin, Texas. He attended the Santa Fe University of Art and Design studying film production. The school announced its closure during his sophomore year due to financial difficulties. Part of the campus caught on fire two months after that announcement. He then moved to Los Angeles, California and works in the film industry.
