Armen Babasoloukian

Armen is from Pasadena,CA and a proud PHS Bulldog. In his formative years he participated in a professional theatre program for at risk youth focusing on creating classically trained actors. He spent 3 years, (mon thru fri, from 6 to 10 pm) in a basement across the street from the Pasadena playhouse learning from industry experts the fundamentals of Theatre and stage performance. Armen credits that experience in beginning his journey of self knowledge, shaping his creative skills and most importantly in saving his life. At that age, he didn’t know he could make a living using his skills as an actor so he joined the Army. Armen is a combat veteran and a 82nd Airborne Paratrooper. After the Army, he earned a bachelors degree in English from UCLA.

Armen’s main focus is theatre and stage performance; however, his Film and TV credits include Sabre Dance, Super Zeroes and Deja. He also works as a commercial actor and has been a spokesperson and star in multiple national commercials.

Armen is an avid beach cruiser and record collector. He recently rediscovered his love for musicals and playing the drums. He donates his time redirecting and reeducating the youth through the arts to cultivate and develop their self esteem. But mostly, his cats take up a majority of his time.
