Long-time Music City insider Heather Byrd is a sought out digital media strategist, writer, photographer, emcee, publicist and red carpet correspondent who has dedicated nearly two decades to covering the entertainment scene in Nashville for national media outlets including Us Weekly, Vevo, Access Hollywood, My Country Nation and The Country Music Association as well as The Nashville Scene and Do615, a targeted music and events website in Nashville.

As a communications professional, this former Tennessean columnist also maintains her own self-branded media and PR company that provides a myriad of services for clients including content production and publicity strategies that bridge the traditional gap between media and PR.

In 2012 and 2013, Heather served on the executive committee for Nashville Fashion Week, a city-wide celebration of Nashville's thriving fashion and retail community and its vast array of creative talent. In 2014, Heather narrated and co-starred in A&E's original docu-series, "Crazy Hearts: Nashville," which followed a group of talented up-and-coming musicians in Music City as they balanced life, love and their pursuit of stardom, one gig at a time. In 2015, Heather was named one of Nashville's Most Influential Women by the Nashville Business Journal.

Since 2013 Heather has implemented sponsorship campaigns and artist activations for Fortune 500 companies through her work with Taillight as an Executive Producer. Also since 2013, she has worked with Nashville's Independent Radio Station, Lightning 100, to develop annual award-winning PR campaigns for Live On The Green, Nashville's most popular, outdoor concert series. And Heather has maintained a journalistic presence at red carpet events as a contributor to Us Weekly since 2011.

With a self-diagnosed "clinical fear of missing out," and a healthy dose of strong ambition, Heather has taken every opportunity to thrive in a career in communications and entertainment in the city she loves.
