Biography

Vashisth, Amit Kumar - a universal actor writer director - hails from the Green State of Northern India - Haryana, famous also for its dialect, cuisine and landscape!

He spent his boyhood in Haryana/Punjab and later went to the Himalayas, Pauri, Garhwal, for his Engineering degree in Computers; and it was here that his journey of self discovery began, which took him to places across all the metropolitans of India, before finally entering the Film and Television Institute of India, FTII, Pune, for PGD in Acting.

While still in FTII, he starred in a musical theater show; Yahoo-the karishma of Shammi Kapoor, performing with the troupe throughout the country, again! Yes!! While starring in various short & diploma films of FTII, and soon moved to Mumbai - the business center of Indian Film Industry - and have been - acting, writing & directing - in films world over, since 2012!

His work has been showcased in all the major global film festivals and currently he is busy with an ambitious science fiction project that is the world's first AR feature film!
