Mickey Deymon is an award-winning fantasy author, filmmaker, and storyteller whose passion is creating immersive worlds that captivate readers and audiences alike.
Alongside her literary career, Mickey has spent more than a decade working in independent filmmaking. Since discovering her passion for film in 2010, she has written, directed, produced, and acted in numerous independent productions. Her projects include El Barbero, El Exorcismo DE Anna, Robin, DUO, Braxton, and the feature film Racked Up, currently in development.
Her work has earned recognition at several film festivals, including a Special Mention Award at the Global Shorts Film Festival for DUO. She was also nominated for Best Actress of the Year by Telemundo 47 at the 2016 Premios Urbano and received festival recognition for Robin, which was featured at the HBO Cinemax Short Competition, the Urban Action Showcase, and the Winter Film Awards.
