Julia Zange was born on August 25, 1983 in Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany. She is an actress, known for Translantics (2015), The Long Summer of Theory (2017) and My Brother's Name Is Robert and He Is an Idiot (2018).

Is an accomplished ballerina and yoga aficionado.

Sings as a Mezzo Soprano.

She won the prestigious PROSANOVA competition in Hildesheim, Germany in 2005, and shared with two other candidates first prize at the 2006 "open mike" literary competition in Berlin.

In 2008 at the age of 25 her first novel "Die Anstalt der besseren Mädchen" was published to critical acclaim and glowing reviews including by Vanity Fair and Der Spiegel.
